It’s Spring, Time for the Atlanta Dogwood Festival

Spring is just around the corner and that means the Atlanta Dogwood Festival in Piedmont Park. The Dogwoods will be in full bloom, and hundreds of artists from around the country will set up their tents for the 74th Annual Festival. What you may not know is that this is a great place for Ethnic food and culture. This event was the Winner of the 2009 International Festival and Events Association’s Silver 2nd Place Award.

What: Atlanta Dogwood Festival

When: April 16, 17, 18, 2010

Friday 12:00 – 9:00 p.m.
Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Sunday 12:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Where: Piedmont Park, Midtown Atlanta

How Much: Free

Details: 2010 International Stage at Lake Clara Meer Dock

Foods to look for: And when you get hungry, follow the delicious smells, of funnel cakes, gyros, crab cakes, onion rings, kettle corn and much, much more!
